biography: A passion for Acting, Dance, and Modeling

Born and raised in Ottawa, Evelyne Richer has been lighting up the stage since she was three years old. From her very first ballet recital, Evelyne’s natural confidence and commanding presence set her apart, captivating audiences with her focus and charisma.

With a foundation in ballet, jazz, lyrical, and tap, Evelyne’s love for dance has only grown stronger over the years. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, she remained committed to her craft, adapting to virtual classes and seizing every opportunity to continue her development. Her drive led her to join a competitive team, where she thrived with expanded opportunities to take the stage and shine. Most notably, Evelyne earned a Top 10 Mini Dancer placement at the national Candance competition—an accolade that speaks to her talent and growing recognition within the dance community.

Evelyne’s greatest strengths lie in her jumps, flexibility, and acrobatic skills—including aerials and walkovers—and her expressive stage presence. Known for her dynamic facial expressions and ability to fully embody characters, she was entrusted with a special role in her studio’s year-end ballet, showcasing her unique storytelling ability through movement. She has also expanded her talents into musical theatre, performing with SOPAC in Ottawa.
